We are seeking an experienced and independent Business Development Manager to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned problem solver with a deep understanding of video production and a proven track record in developing business opportunities in this sector.

• Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and business development in the video production industry within Malaysia.
• Utilize extensive knowledge in producing TV Commercials, Corporate Videos, and Event Coverage to consult and advise potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a constant flow of projects.
• Present and effectively communicate Vicinity Studio’s capabilities and services to potential clients, including marketing agencies and direct clients.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals and follow-up.
• Work closely with the production team to understand project scopes and deliverables, ensuring client needs are met effectively.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics, leveraging this knowledge to identify new opportunities.
• Proven experience in business development, particularly in the video production or related media industry.
• Strong background in producing TV Commercials, Corporate Videos, and/or Event Coverage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Proficiency in managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
• Familiarity with the Malaysian market and its specific needs in video production.
