Perform visual inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Operate and maintain basic quality control equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, for accurate measurements.
- Record inspection results accurately and legibly in designated logs, databases, or quality control software.
- Identify and report any non-conforming products or deviations from quality standards to the QC Supervisor or relevant personnel.
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other quality management systems.
- Participate in basic quality training sessions to enhance understanding of quality control procedures and product requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials and equipment.
- Perform visual inspections of incoming raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet specified quality standards and identify any defects or non-conformities.
- Conduct basic quality checks on production lines, including verifying product dimensions, appearance, and packaging, according to established procedures.
- Document inspection results accurately in quality control logs and reports, noting any deviations from standards and escalating issues to the QC Supervisor.
- Assist in the collection and preparation of product samples for further testing or analysis by senior quality control personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all inspection tools and equipment are properly stored and calibrated.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing quality control duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the QC team in identifying root causes of quality issues and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
