Candidates must be currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and must be required to undergo an internship as part of their academic program. Applicants should possess basic knowledge of construction drawings, site processes, and civil & structural works.The role requires individuals who are willing to work on construction sites within KL and Selangor, and who demonstrate a responsible, disciplined, and proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, while the ability to communicate in Mandarin will be considered an added advantage.
Candidates should also be physically fit to handle site conditions, able to work under pressure, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
The Intern Site Supervisor will assist the Site Supervisor or Project Engineer in overseeing daily construction site operations and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.The intern will be exposed to real site conditions and is expected to support the team in monitoring work progress, conducting basic site inspections, and ensuring quality control measures are maintained. This role requires close coordination with subcontractors, workers, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
In addition, the intern will assist in preparing daily site reports, recording site activities, tracking manpower and material usage, and documenting progress updates. The intern may also be involved in basic site measurements, setting out works, and attending site meetings when required.Any site issues, delays, or safety concerns must be promptly reported to the supervisor for further action.
