AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.
As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.
The main responsibilities within this role are to manage the customer requests, purchase orders and queries received via email telephone calls and other channels for the Offshore Energies business in APAC
The aim is to be as proactive and efficient as possible, solving the customer demands and queries in a timely professional manner whilst delivering the best service possible at all times to reach an optimal customer satisfaction with respect to the AL policies and procedures.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?- First point of contact with clients and global Business Development Managers
- Providing quotation to meet customer requests & Process sales orders
- Provide excellent service and maintain good relations with all customers
- Participate in team meetings as required
- Manage all logistics delivery to meet customer requirements
- Assist in the creation of freight related documentation
- Work alongside with procurement team for PO creation for affiliates for gas refills
- Review QAQC documentation before sending to client
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as required
- Maintain accurate records for all invoices, payments and customer documentation.
- Assist with the month end process, ensuring procurement costs are accounted for in the ERP system.
- Participate in month end process and ensure month end billing is completed on time
- Participate in credit collection process along with the credit control department
- Bachelor Degree in supply chain management or business administration or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and Team player & time management skills
- Task oriented and focused on delivering results
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Confident with the operation of Google Office applications
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small established team
- At least 1-2 years experience in logistic will be an added advantage
- Fresh graduate students are encouraged to apply
