Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple cafe outlets to ensure smooth daily operations, sales growth, service excellence, and compliance with company standards. This role will lead and support Outlet Managers, monitor outlet performance, and drive operational improvements across all assigned outlets similar to modern coffee chain operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily operations for multiple cafe outlets.
  • Lead, guide, and monitor Outlet Managers to achieve operational and sales targets.
  • Ensure all outlets maintain excellent customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and SOP compliance.
  • Monitor manpower planning, staff performance, scheduling, and training across outlets.
  • Analyze sales performance, operational costs, wastage, and profitability improvement.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits, audits, and operational reviews to ensure consistent standards.
  • Handle customer complaints, operational issues, and outlet escalation professionally.
  • Work closely with HQ departments including HR, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and customer experience.
  • Ensure proper inventory control, stock management, and outlet equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B or retail chain operations management.
  • Experience handling multiple outlets and managing Outlet Managers is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and travel between outlets when required.
  • Strong understanding of outlet KPI, SOP compliance, inventory control, and manpower management.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage due to operational and business communication requirements.
