Our clients are established and fast-growing players within the Medical and Healthcare sector, covering both Manufacturing and Retail. They are currently looking to expand their footprint and penetrate the market, seeking dynamic procurement professionals to join their growing teams.

about the job

We are currently looking for talent across multiple levels. The specific job scope will be clarified further during the interview process, based on the seniority of the role: Senior Sourcing Manager, Procurement Manager, Assistant Procurement Manager or Procurement Executive.

Depending on the level of the role, the successful candidate will be involved in the following:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Sourcing for reliable suppliers and contractors for medical raw materials, equipment, and subcontracting works to ensure project costs remain within budget.
  • Contract Management: Responsible for negotiations and follow-ups on all pre and post-contract management to ensure deals are in favor of the company.
  • Financial Oversight: Preparing cost studies, feasibility studies, and budget planning while forecasting monthly cash flow and expenses.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluating and setting up proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when necessary to increase department efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Working hand-in-hand with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth procurement processes and on-time delivery.

about the manager/team

Successful candidates will typically report to the Director or Head of Department. Senior-level roles will be expected to develop and lead their own team to support the company’s expansion plans

skills and experience required
  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain or equivalent).
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the Medical, Manufacturing, or Healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Years of Experience: Managerial Level: 8 years and above; Executive Level: 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, the ability to work under pressure, and experience in managing multiple stakeholders across the board.
