Overview:A Singapore-based interior design firm is seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Executive / Manager to spearhead its expansion across Malaysia. The role is based in Johor Bahru with nationwide coverage, managing the entire BD process from lead generation to project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the company’s presence in Malaysia
- Identify and secure residential and commercial projects nationwide
- Liaise between Johor office and Singapore HQ; report to Managing Director
- Build strong networks with property developers, contractors, agencies, and clients
- Represent the brand at industry events and networking platforms
- Collaborate with project/design teams for smooth handovers and delivery
- Conduct market research and prepare proposals, close deals, and support onboarding
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales pipeline and performance
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design, property, or related sectors
- Strong network and market knowledge across Malaysia (especially Johor)
- Excellent communication skills (English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus)
- Independent, confident, and willing to travel (including to Singapore occasionally)
Basic:
Executive Level: RM 5,000 – RM 7,000/monthManager Level: RM 12,000 – RM 18,000/month

Working Days: Monday to Saturday, 5.5 days, 44 hours work week
