What you'll do:
As a Commercial Finance Manager based in Selangor, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that span from preparing detailed financial reports for management review to developing sophisticated KPIs that track organisational performance.- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all communications.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards that monitor both financial and operational performance across the organisation.
- Support the entire budgeting process by developing annual budgets, maintaining rolling forecasts, and projecting future financial outcomes based on current trends.
- Analyse variances between actual results and budget or forecast figures, identifying key drivers behind these differences to inform future strategies.
- Ensure robust financial reporting and planning processes are in place to evaluate profit margins and cost efficiencies throughout different business areas.
- Evaluate product profitability as well as supplier profitability through detailed mix analyses that guide commercial decision-making.
- Assess the return on investment (ROI) and effectiveness of promotions to ensure marketing spend delivers optimal value for the business.
What you bring:
To excel as a Commercial Finance Manager in Selangor, your background should include substantial experience within commercial finance environments where you have demonstrated proficiency in both technical analysis and interpersonal communication.
- Minimum Degree in Accounting or Finance is required; candidates holding accounting professional qualifications such as MIA, MICPA, ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA are highly preferred for this role.
- At least ten years’ experience in commercial finance or related fields is essential for demonstrating depth of expertise.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL is necessary for managing data-driven analysis tasks efficiently.
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI enables you to create impactful dashboards that support decision-making processes.
