[ref. y59063301] Assistant Pricing Manager
The Opportunity
This role is heavily involved in supporting pricing management, internal pricing teams and the Head of Pricing in daily pricing strategy activities for all prospective new business and in force clients including high complexity pricing analytics, internal reporting and development / implementation / adoption of key strategic project initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support on both Agency and Banca channels on new product launches and campaign initiatives.
- Perform detailed pricing assessment and involvement from end-to-end process to ensure right governance and mitigations actions in place.
- Act independently to develop, support and analyze key strategic pricing initiatives aimed at improving profitability, increasing revenue, risk management, competitiveness and growth through market, cost and profitability analysis.
- Perform UATs as involved changes in ePOS, MySales, and PICs, and always looking for opportunity to improve current process.
- Support the NB quarterly monitoring, new business plan, post-launch monitoring and medical repricing.
- Provide guidance to juniors/interns, and also perform peer review on model, UAT etc.
- Support leaders and the Head of Pricing with project and ad hoc analysis as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrate ability to apply actuarial theories to develop practical solutions to various assignments and projects.
- Degree holder with reasonable progress in actuarial professional qualification.
- A good team player who is keen to learn and able to work independently.
- With Pricing or Actuarial experience around 2-3 years.
