Accountant

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Advanced Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Demonstrate fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Skilled in preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
• Ability to perform financial analysis and provide insightful recommendations.
• Experience in budget preparation and management.
• Proficient in using accounting software.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and a passion for collaborative teamwork.
• Able to prepare a full set of accounts.

• Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Perform monthly and annual closing processes, including bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support better decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, including analyzing expenditures and recommending cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with all tax reporting and regulatory requirements, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit and provide required documentation.
• Develop and maintain internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective financial control.
• Provide support to other departments on financial and accounting-related matters.
