- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring proper documentation and filing of all accounting transactions.
- Support the budgeting process by assisting in the development of budgets, monitoring budget performance, and analyzing variances.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Utilize accounting software to process transactions, generate reports, and maintain the general ledger.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
