Technitec Engineering Sdn Bhd is a growing M&E engineering contractor with a team of approximately 150 professionals, specializing in large-scale industrial plants, data centres, power plant projects, government-certified EPCC solar company, actively expanding its footprint in the renewable energy sector.

We are at a pivotal growth stage and are seeking a commercially driven business leader to accelerate our expansion.

This is not a conventional sales role. It is a strategic position where you will directly contribute to building the company’s growth engine. You will have the autonomy to originate and drive high-value opportunities, working closely with top management to shape the company’s future direction.

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 4-6+ years of business development experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or energy sectors
  • Proven ability to originate deals or strong client network is a significant advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, capable of handling complex deals
  • Highly self-driven, result-oriented, with an ownership mindset
  • Proficient in English; Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic business development across M&E engineering and renewable energy sectors
  • Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers (developers, industrial clients, consultants, and data centre owners)
  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value projects (ranging from million to multi-million scale)
  • Drive tender strategies, commercial negotiations, and partnership structuring
  • Analyse market trends and develop mid- to long-term growth strategies
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful project conversion and delivery
