Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Developer with strong experience in AS400 (IBM i) environment and proficiency in COBOL and/or RPG programming. The role involves supporting and enhancing core banking, payment, and ATM systems, including both development and production support (L2/L3) activities.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with DB2 databases, system integration, and batch/real-time transaction processing. Familiarity with banking/payment systems, such as SWIFT, RTGS, GIRO, FAST, and other financial transaction platforms, is highly desirable.
The role also requires experience with deployment and release management tools (e.g., ALDON) and basic understanding of DevOps practices, including automation, CI/CD, and incident management in production environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a high-pressure financial services environment. Exposure to core banking systems, middleware/EAI architecture, and financial domain workflows will be an added advantage.
