With several upcoming large-scale developments in Johor, they are now looking to expand their leadership team by hiring a Head of Contracts to be based in Johor.
about the job
As the Head of Contracts, you will be leading the contract and commercial function for multiple building projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end contract management process, including tendering, contract administration, cost control, claims, and procurement strategies.
key responsibilities:- Oversee and manage contract administration across projects
- Lead a team of contract & QS personnel
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on contract matters
- Mitigate risks and manage claims and variations
You will be reporting directly to the CEO and work closely with the senior leadership team.
skills & experience required- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management or equivalent
- At least 12 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to building construction projects
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with contract forms.
