What you'll do:

By managing corporate exercises and supporting administrative functions, you will help drive operational excellence throughout the group. Success in this role means not only safeguarding compliance but also contributing valuable strategic insights that propel sustainable business growth.

• Oversee the entire process of financial forecasting and budget preparation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational objectives across multiple business units.
• Supervise the preparation of full sets of financial reports for the group, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis for project feasibility studies, providing actionable insights that support investment decisions in renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual financial reporting activities, liaising effectively with external auditors and company secretaries to ensure timely submission to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
• Prepare comprehensive project papers and financial reports for board meetings, delivering clear and concise information to facilitate informed decision-making by directors.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with bankers, managing financing arrangements to support ongoing business operations and future growth initiatives.
• Lead the preparation of annual reports and other statutory submissions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage corporate exercises as required by the group, overseeing project management activities from inception through successful completion.
• Provide oversight to the administrative department, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances operational efficiency across the organisation.
• Undertake additional assignments or special projects as directed by the CEO or Board of Directors, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organisational success.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is essential; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CFA are highly preferred for this role.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in senior financial management positions is required, ideally gained within construction or property development sectors.
• Proven ability to manage bank funding arrangements while cultivating dependable relationships with key financial institutions is considered an added advantage.
• Demonstrated skill in preparing board papers and presenting effectively during board meetings is crucial for success in this position.
• Extensive experience in driving financial governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations while implementing operational improvements across departments.
• Direct exposure to Bursa Malaysia Stock Exchange reporting requirements is mandatory for this opportunity.
