Financial Controller - Public Listed

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and oversee the preparation of the full set of financial reporting for the Group.
2. Prepare financial analysis for project feasibility studies.
3. Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting and coordinate with external auditors and the company secretary for submission to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
4. Prepare project papers and financial reports for board meetings.
5. Liaise with bankers for financing of the company.
6. Prepare the annual report and other statutory reporting.
7. Project manage corporate exercises of the Group as and when necessary.
8. Oversee the administrative department of the company.
9. Perform other engagements or tasks assigned by the CEO and/or the Board of Directors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in a senior financial management role.
• Capable of managing Board of Directors (BOD) and stakeholder expectations.
• Proven track record of driving financial governance, compliance, and operational improvements.
• Experience in Bursa Stock Exchange reporting is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for financial details and strategic insights.
• Able to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Possess a high level of integrity and commitment to transparency in all financial dealings.
