Internship Accounting Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Intern to support our accounting team in daily financial and accounting operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to accounting practices, tax compliance, and client servicing within an accounting firm environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in bookkeeping and data entry of accounting records

Support preparation of financial statements and management reports

Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Help with bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance

Support tax computation, tax filing, and audit documentation

Organize and maintain accounting documents and client files

Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is an advantage
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
