As the Accounting and Admin Officer at Cube, your impact on the business and customers is crucial.Your role would be ensuring the accurate and timely recordkeeping of the business financial transactions.
Your Team:
You will report to the Operations Director and the Group Finance Director based in the UK while collaborating closely with the facilities, sales and customer service team.
Your Responsibilities:
Financial Management- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation, payroll and tax reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial standards, and relevant regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Validating and auditing data input to inventory management system, producing reports from the system and ensuring data is accurate for reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information flow.
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize delinquent accounts.
- Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address billing inquiries and disputes.
- Prepare reports on collections performance and trends for management review.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing appropriate controls and safeguards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in financial/tax regulations.
- To ensure proper admin filing for all statutory requirements
our Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts and admin
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial work.
- Proficiency in using management software and systems for accounting, and inventory tracking.
- Experience with Xero and SAP based accounting systems a plus.
- Good team-spirit and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Willing to learn & resourceful, demonstrate positive attitude & adaptable.
