We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple finance functions. In this role, you’ll support the Finance Manager and collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.Upon confirmation, you stand a chance to eventually lead the finance function within the company!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial reporting, including group and statutory reporting
- Support in management accounting and regulatory submissions
- Handle trade compliance and indirect tax-related matters
- Monitor adherence to internal controls and standard operating procedures
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and business planning support
- Collaborate with shared services, regional finance, and local cross-functional teams
- Participate in finance-related projects and ad hoc tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (professional qualifications are a plus)
- 3–5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of SAP FI/CO is a plus
- Fluent in English and the local language
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel between local sites and openness to overseas relocation for assignments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous personal development
- Willing to work in HQ at Malacca
