Ampang Jaya - Internship Account Intern

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring daily sales communications and answering any queries.
• Assist in preparing statutory accounts.
• Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
• Recording and filing cash transactions.
• Invoice processing and filing.
• Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
• Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required.
• Internship duration can be 3 - 6 months, but preferably 6 months.
