Safety & Health Officer

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices, particularly in the construction sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to identifying and mitigating risks
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills
- Conducting regular site inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures
- Providing comprehensive safety training and guidance to all site personnel
- Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our construction projects
- Staying up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and best practices, and advising the organisation accordingly
