Sales engineer (based at penang) - Bukit Mertajam

Job Summary:

Sales Engineer drives sales and marketing, prepares forecasts, develops proposals, meets targets, and ensures client engagement and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage sales and marketing efforts for company products in the assigned territory.
• Deliver effective presentations and demonstrations and provide technical insights into products.
• Handle inquiries, prepare detailed proposals, and provide follow-up and after-sales service.
• Offer profession advice on product performance, conduct site visits, and demonstrate equipment.
• Manage debt collection processes for sales transactions.
• Prepare and submit detailed sales and marketing reports on a monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual basis to monitor performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Actively engage in client outreach through scheduled visits, strategic cold calling, and proactive client engagement initiatives to expand and strengthen the customer base.
• Identify and pursue potential customers to expand the company's customer base / new customer development
• Promote company products and services.
• Execute sales activities to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunication, Photonics) or Physics, or a related field.
• Must possess a personal vehicle and be willing to travel extensively.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent self-presentation and business etiquette. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
