Quantity Surveyor Cum Purchaser

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, cost control, and procurement practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials and subcontractor services for construction projects.
• Liaise with site personnel regarding site instruction / purchase requisition.
• Taking off and measurement from contract, Bill of Quantity and construction drawing.
• Invite tenders, consult with suppliers and review quotations
• Cost estimating, cost planning and cost studies, cost monitoring & cost controlling.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BQs) and cost estimates for project tenders and proposals.
• Monitor and track project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, quantity take-offs, and quality of work performed.
• Assist in preparing interim valuations and progress reports for clients and contractors.
• Provide cost control and financial forecasting support to senior quantity surveyor and managers.
• Assist in evaluating and negotiating change orders, variations, and claims.
• Ensure timely submission of payment applications, and resolve payment disputes.
• Assist in preparing final accounts and settlements at the completion of projects.
