About the role

What you'll be doing- Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the on-site construction team, including subcontractors and labourers
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing appropriate safety measures on the construction site
- Monitoring the progress of work and identifying any potential issues or delays, and implementing solutions to keep the project on track
- Liaising with the Project Manager, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns
- Overseeing the quality of work and conducting inspections to ensure that it meets the required standards
- Maintaining accurate records, including timesheets, progress reports, and site logs
- Providing on-the-job training and support to the construction team, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the construction team
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant health and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools
- Relevant qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in Construction Management or a related field, are preferred
