Social Media Manager Cum Designer

At Hankidz, we are more than a preschool, nursery and primary day care, we nurture confident, mindful young leaders. Our social media is not just marketing; it is storytelling, education, and community-building.

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and proactive Full-Time In-House Social Media Manager to lead and manage the entire social media presence for Hankidz Preschool and Nursery.

This role requires someone who can think strategically, execute independently, collaborate with the team, and bring our brand values to life through meaningful content.

• A good design sense and a good heart
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
• A love for social media and a curiosity for how it connects people
• Able to read/write/understand Mandarin (spoken not necessary)
• Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple creative tasks

Bonus Skills (Optional but Advantageous):

• Run paid ads or boosted posts before
• Know your way around content insights and analytics (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
• A playful spirit and passion for working with children, parents, and educators

1. Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute monthly content calendars aligned with school events, campaigns, enrolment drives, workshops, and brand direction
• Brainstorm content ideas together with marketing management team
• Identify content pillars (education, child development, behind-the-scenes, parent education, testimonials, etc.)
• Ensure all content reflects Hankidz’ brand

1. Content Creation & Production

• Travel occasionally to different Hankidz branches to capture photos and videos
• Film classroom moments, events, teacher highlights, and child-led activities
• Create engaging content including:
• Reels
• Carousels
• Static posts
• Stories
• Short-form videos
• Edit videos with captions, transitions, music, and branding consistency
• Write engaging, thoughtful captions that connect with parents emotionally and educationally
• Create Mandarin and English content when required

1. Social Media Management

• Manage platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu (and others if required)
• Schedule and publish posts consistently
• Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement daily
• Respond professionally and warmly to parents and enquiries
• Maintain brand consistency across all platforms

1. Performance Monitoring & Growth

• Track engagement metrics (reach, saves, shares, comments, growth rate)
• Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
• Identify content that performs well and optimise strategy accordingly
• Suggest improvements for brand positioning and online presence

1. Campaign & Launch Support

• Support enrolment campaigns and promotional launches
• Coordinate with management for ads or boosted posts (if applicable)
• Assist in creating marketing materials when required

1. Mandarin Content Support

• Read, understand, and write Mandarin for captions and content adaptation
• Support Mandarin-based platforms, especially Xiaohongshu
