Core Requirements
- Diploma or higher in IT / Computer Science or related
- Minimum 1–3 years real IT support experience (enterprise or multi-user environment)
- Strong communication skills (mandatory) — able to confidently engage corporate users
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Solid understanding of:
- TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
- LAN/WAN environments
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows OS
- Microsoft 365 (essential)
- User support and troubleshooting
- Familiar with:
- Basic networking tools
- Endpoint/system diagnostics
- Able to handle users directly and professionally
- Able to explain technical issues in simple terms
- Able to work independently in live environments
- Able to analyze issues, not just follow instructions
- Able to propose improvements and enhance system reliability
- Able to handle operational pressure and real incidents
- Experience supporting:
- Business applications (ERP / internal systems)
- Multi-site or multi-client environments
- Exposure to:
- Basic scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python)
- AI tools / AI-assisted workflows
- Act as frontline IT support for enterprise users
- Handle user requests, incidents, and issues directly
- Troubleshoot across:
- Endpoints (laptops, desktops)
- Microsoft 365 environment
- Network connectivity and access
- Communicate clearly with users and explain solutions
- Provide basic user training and guidance:
- Microsoft 365 usage
- System workflows and tools
- Help users adopt systems effectively and reduce recurring issues
- Work with:
- LAN/WAN environments
- Switches, routers, structured networks
- Diagnose:
- Connectivity issues
- Performance degradation
- Device/network failures
- Identify:
- System bottlenecks
- Failure risks
- Recurring issues
- Propose and implement practical improvements
- Support backup, restore, and recovery operations
- Support:
- Microsoft 365 (essential)
- Business applications (ERP, internal systems, SaaS platforms)
- Use tools such as:
- Remote support tools
- Monitoring systems
- Ticketing platforms
- Maintain accurate documentation:
- Network layouts
- System configurations
- Incident records
- Produce clear, structured technical notes
- Utilize and support AI-assisted IT tools and workflows (e.g., OpenAI or similar)
- Contribute to basic automation and process improvements
