Content creator & community executive
Role Overview
Xsolla Curine Academy (XCA) is a game development and future-tech academy that also serves as a regional hub for education, events, and innovation. We are looking for a creative and proactive Content Creator & Community Executive to amplify our brand across social platforms, capture meaningful moments, and support internal and external engagement activities.This role merges content strategy with hands-on execution and active student/community involvement.
- Key Responsibilities
A. Content Creation & Digital Presence
Plan and execute content calendars across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Create and publish short-form videos, reels, carousels, infographics, and behind-the-scenes content.
Capture and produce content during events, workshops, student showcases, and day-to-day academy life.
Collaborate with marketing and program teams to produce program explainers, testimonials, and sponsor content.
Use SEO best practices, hashtags, and platform tools to boost discoverability and engagement.B. Student Engagement & Internal Content
Support internal community engagement (WhatsApp, Discord) with polls, updates, spotlight campaigns (e.g., student of the month).
Coordinate with academic team to convert teaching and project milestones into branded storytelling.
Organize and capture content for internal student activities, success stories, and graduate highlights.
Engagement online on all different platforms and spread the good news of XCAC. Event & Partner Activation Support
Assist with on-ground event logistics, including setup, signage, check-in, emceeing, and content capture.
Create recap decks, post-event videos, and branded summaries for partners, sponsors, and grant bodies.
Help prepare and manage media assets for BD and outreach events (game jams, pitching days, university visits).D. Analytics, Content Library & Coordination
Track content performance metrics across platforms.
Maintain an organized Google Drive of video footage, designs, and past assets.
Share weekly reporting with the marketing team and suggest improvements based on trends and analytics.- Who You Are
A storyteller and content builder passionate about tech, gaming, and education.
Experienced with social media trends, engagement tactics, and creative tools.
Comfortable capturing and editing real-time video and photos.
Able to interact confidently with students, partners, and guests.- KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Produce 10–12 high-quality content pieces per month (mix of videos, reels, stories, and carousels).
Achieve a minimum of 100 new followers per month across key social media platforms.
Maintain 90% adherence to the content calendar and posting schedule.
Cover 2–3 key academy or partner events per month with reels, recap videos, or photo dumps.
Drive at least 80% participation in student engagement campaigns (polls, contests, community posts).
Receive an internal satisfaction rating of 80% or higher from academic and BD teams.- Requirements
1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or community building.
Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite (basic video and graphic editing).
Strong writing and captioning skills in English, with good attention to tone and brand voice.
Comfortable with short-form video shooting and editing for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Experience using Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok for brand storytelling and engagement.
Familiar with content scheduling, analytics tools, and organizing digital assets on Google Drive.
Bonus: Familiarity with Discord or other online community platforms for student engagement.
