Job Title: Content Creator (Editorial & Brand Presenter)
Job Summary & Description
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Content Creator to join our team. This role focuses on producing original, compelling content that supports EMG’s client campaigns and brand storytelling across platforms.
As a Content Creator, you’ll translate strategy into execution by crafting content that resonates with target audiences, communicates key messages, and delivers performance-driven results. You’ll create for a range of formats including social media posts, articles, email newsletters, and more.
You will work under the guidance of the Content Strategist, and collaborate closely with Designers, Copywriters, Account Managers, Marketing Strategist and other team members to ensure alignment with strategic goals and campaign timelines.
Key Responsibilities
✍️ Content Development & Production- Produce engaging, brand-aligned content across formats: social media, blogs, newsletters, website, and print
- Tailor messaging to suit platform formats, audience behavior, and campaign objectives
- Incorporate copywriting, basic layout, and storytelling techniques in content creation
- Research & Insight Integration
- Conduct desk research to gather inspiration, brand/product understanding, and target audience insights
- Apply learnings from briefings and market trends into content production
- Content Publishing & Coordination
- Assist with scheduling and publishing of digital content as guided by the content strategy
- Coordinate with designers, editors, and other production team members for asset creation
- Review content for grammar, accuracy, clarity, and tone of voice
- Apply feedback from the Content Strategist and internal stakeholders
- Adapt and localise content for different channels or formats as needed
- Performance Awareness
- Understand how your content contributes to engagement, reach, and conversion goals
- Support reporting processes by sharing content status and feedback data with the team
- Strong writing skills with an ability to craft engaging and informative content
- Comfortable performing or speaking on-camera for branded content
- Familiarity with digital content trends, especially for social platforms (e.g. IG, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Attention to grammar, structure, tone, and consistency
- Basic understanding of content performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, etc.)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and any content or publishing tools (Notion, CMS, etc.)
- Embrace AI tools: Actively incorporate AI platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Grammarly, Caption generators, etc.) into daily content planning, writing, and execution workflows
- 1–2 years experience in content creation, marketing, copywriting, or editorial (agency experience is a plus)
- Portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate versatility and creativity
- Ability to adapt tone and language based on brand and platform requirements
- Use of AI tools for next-level enhancement (e.g., content ideation, automation, video scripting, voiceovers)
- Basic visual design knowledge (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express)
- Exposure to influencer marketing, community engagement, or digital campaigns
- Creative mindset with a can-do attitude
- Highly organised and proactive with timelines and deliverables
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly
