A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Preferably 2 years of experience in a technical management role or fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools (AutoCAD)
- Strong communication, leadership and problem solving skills
- Be skillful in MS Office software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an added advantage
- Having knowledge in Quality Management System such as API Q1 or ISO 9001
- Having knowledge in ASME , ASTME, DS1 is an added advantage
- Manage and lead a production team to ensure products delivered on-time while maintaining qualitty
- Prepares production schedule and ensures production team is operating at its maximum efficiency by controlling and monitoring process
- Design products, initiates design review, verifies and test design and document design output
- Lead technical team initiatives to innovate production and diversify job responsibilities
- Monitor industry trends and technologies, and recommend strategies to maintain the company's competitive edge
- Collects field performance and reliability data
- Prepares product specification from customer specified requirements
- Maintains production equipment and raw materials
- Verifies that each step of the repair/manufacturing conforms to specific customer specifications or customer quality requirement
- Performs job order review upon received enquiry from client
- Maintains an adequate technical library
- Determines production personnel and equipment requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies
