What you'll do:

In addition to core reporting duties, you will have the chance to participate in process improvement projects that enhance overall efficiency. • Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements as well as comprehensive group management reports to ensure accurate reflection of business performance.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insightful commentary on the results of various business units to support strategic decision-making.
• Draft detailed Board finance papers that clearly communicate complex financial information to senior stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial projections by collaborating closely with different departments across the organisation.
• Review tax computations meticulously to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable accounting standards such as IFRS and MFRS, ensuring all reporting meets statutory requirements.
• Participate actively in process assessments and contribute to project management initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency within the finance function.
• Work collaboratively with auditors, company secretaries, tax consultants, and legal advisors to facilitate smooth audits and regulatory compliance.
• Provide general business operations support by performing related duties as required and taking on ad-hoc projects that arise within the department.

• Comprehensive knowledge of consolidation principles paired with hands-on experience in group-level reporting responsibilities.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), ensuring you can navigate regulatory requirements confidently.
• Proven ability to prepare accurate tax computations while adhering strictly to statutory guidelines.
• Meticulous attention to detail combined with an analytical mindset that enables you to interpret data effectively for actionable insights.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English so you can articulate complex information clearly both verbally and in writing.
