Achieve at least Degree certificate

  • 5+ years in B2B sales/business development (retail, FMCG or pet industry preferred)
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets (RM 5 million / year)
  • Strong network in retail/pet industry (desirable)
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills
  • Financial acumen (P&L understanding, margin management)
  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of time

Sales Growth & Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Identify and secure high-value B2B accounts
  • Expand retail distribution through new store partnerships and channel development

Business Development:

  • Prospect and onboard new business partners (distributors, retailers, wholesalers)
  • Negotiate profitable contracts with pet-related businesses
  • Develop trade marketing sales programs for bulk buyers

Account Development & Management:

  • Develop & manage key accounts to ensure repeat business and maximize account potential
  • Implement account growth strategies through upselling and cross-selling
  • Resolve customer business issues and maintain high satisfaction levels
Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives and account managers
  • Set clear KPIs and performance targets for the sales team and monitor progress
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews
  • Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and motivation
  • Identify skill gaps and implement coaching programs to improve team effectiveness
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure team collaboration for maximum productivity

Sales Operations:

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvement plans
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns and sales collateral
