JOB VACANCY

POSITION - QUANTITY SURVEYOR

LOCATION - KAJANG

SALARY - RM 3000-4000

To assist in tendering, procurement, and contracting processes on technical matters;
To review interim recommendations from QS Consultant/ M&E Consultant/ Landscape Consultant and ensure interim certificate issued by Architect;
To ensure all valid Variation Orders compromised with Architect Instruction and Engineer Instruction;
To review the draft final account statement prepared by the consultant and ensure the final account statement is signed off by all parties;
To prepare and ensure the timely submission of the Contractor Monthly progress claim;
To conduct joint measurements to verify work completed by contractors;
To assist the Contract Manager to prepare reports and variation orders;
To liaise with consultants, architects, authorities, contractors, etc. to ensure works are carried out based on established procedures, specifications and contract requirements of the projects; and
Undertake any other duties and responsibilities, as instructed by the Superior

Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a diploma or Bachelor Degree in Surveying/ Civil Engineering/ Construction Management;
At least 2 years working experience in QS consultancy firm/ Property Development;
Preferable with experienced in handling commercial projects/ high rise projects;
Knowledge of Standard Form of Contract (PAM/IEM/PWD);
Possess a positive attitude, ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
