- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection process to fulfil hiring needs
- Develop hiring strategies and monitor employee retention and turnover
- Ensure proper onboarding, employment contracts, and statutory registrations
- Compensation & Benefits
- Advise management on salary benchmarking and compensation structures
- Manage payroll, income tax, insurance, and employee benefits administration
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with company policies and local laws
- Maintain HRIS, payroll records, and benefits database
- HR Operations & Administration
- Develop and update HR policies, SOPs, and organizational structures
- Maintain staff records including job descriptions, KPIs, and organization charts
- Oversee office administration, procurement, and workplace safety compliance
- Industrial Relations (IR)
- Act as liaison between employees and management to resolve workplace issues
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and domestic inquiries (DI)
- Advise management on industrial relations best practices
- Liaise with government authorities such as JTK and IR Department
- Performance Management & Development
- Implement and manage Performance Management Process (PMP)
- Support performance reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual, 360° evaluations)
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs
- Drive HR system improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Law and Industrial Relations practices
- Experience managing full spectrum HR functions including payroll and IR
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using HRIS or HR systems is an advantage
- Background in automotive or operations industry is preferred
