Minimum 2 to 3 years in a sommelier or wine focused role within fine dining or private club environments
Strong command of global wine regions, varietals, and pairing philosophy
Presence and communication that is composed, confident, and refined
Ability to translate knowledge into experience, not information
Physically capable of managing wine stock and service demands
Fluent in Chinese, spoken and written
Wine Programmed Leadership- Curate and evolve a distinguished wine list that reflects depth, balance, and identity
- Align selections with culinary direction, member profile, and seasonal availability
- Introduce rare, boutique, and conversation worthy labels that set Luxis apart
- Deliver precise and intuitive wine recommendations based on preference, context, and occasion
- Execute service with technical excellence, including correct glassware, decanting, and temperature control
- Read the table with discretion, knowing when to step forward and when to remain unseen
- Instill strong wine fundamentals across the service team
- Conduct structured training on varietals, regions, tasting notes, and pairing logic
- Build a team that speaks about wine with quiet confidence, not rehearsed scripts
- Maintain disciplined inventory control and cellar organization
- Ensure optimal storage conditions and consistent stock availability
- Work closely with suppliers to secure quality, consistency, and exclusivity
- Design and host private tastings, curated wine dinners, and member experiences
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive and memorable pairings
- Continuously refine the wine journey to match the evolving standard of the club
