- Financial Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy and proper classification of all General Ledger entries to uphold the integrity of financial reporting.
- Lead the monthly and annual closing cycles, ensuring high data quality and meeting all reporting deadlines.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation
- Guarantee the integrity of the General Ledger by validating the precision of every journal entry and adjustment.
- Direct the reconciliation of bank and intercompany accounts, ensuring precise tracking of suspense items, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
- Manage the end-to-end fixed asset process, ensuring accurate recording of additions, disposals, and precise depreciation accounting.
- Internal Controls & Audit
- Develop and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Audit firm experience is an added advantage.
