Project Interior Designer

Possess a Diploma in Interior Design or a related field, suitable for fresh graduates seeking an entry-level position.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and technical drawings, and SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualization.
- Ability to assist senior designers in developing design concepts, space planning, and material selections for various interior projects.
- Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Capable of preparing design presentations, mood boards, and sample boards under guidance.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic construction/building environment, contributing to projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and building materials relevant to interior fit-outs.
- Assist senior designers in developing design concepts and presentations for various interior projects, from initial ideation to final execution.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and custom furniture details, using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories, ensuring they align with project budgets and design aesthetics.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications and resolve any on-site design-related issues.
- Support project documentation, including mood boards, material boards, specification sheets, and client presentations.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information, take measurements, and monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to design intent.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to facilitate smooth project execution.
