Finance Assistant Manager / Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:-

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory tax filings and regulatory reports.
• Uphold high standards of financial integrity, accuracy, and documentation.

• Manage closing activities with attention to detail and accountability for deadlines.
• Perform and review account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance process efficiency and control.

• Assist in preparing the company’s annual budget and rolling forecasts.
• Deliver clear and actionable financial analysis to support informed business decisions.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities for audits and reviews.
• Support treasury operations including cash flow monitoring and bank relationship matters.

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all finance activities.
• Maintain a can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, humility, and a collaborative spirit when engaging with peers, subordinates, and cross-functional teams.
• Actively support the Head of Finance in fostering a positive, performance-oriented finance culture.

Qualifications & Requirements:-

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Partial or full professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW) is preferred.

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit.
• Industry experience in retail, consumer financing, or manufacturing is advantageous but is not mandatory.
• Candidates from audit firms (Big 4 or mid-tier) transitioning into commercial roles are encouraged to apply.

• Good understanding of MFRS/IFRS, tax, and internal control principles.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• High level of personal discipline, time management, and integrity.
• Effective communicator with a growth mindset and a strong sense of teamwork.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is a plus.
