Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail marketing, trade marketing, or brand activation.
  • Experience in eyewear, beauty, FMCG, or lifestyle/healthcare retail is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills, able to manage multiple outlets and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Confident in stakeholder management.
  • Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset; confident in taking campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Data-literate with strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a bonus.

Job Summary:

Join MOG as a Retail Marketing Executive, where you’ll drive nationwide in-store marketing campaigns to boost footfall, brand visibility, and shopper engagement. Acting as the link between strategic planning and retail execution, you'll also support category management alongside brand and merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute retail-driven marketing campaigns in alignment with MOG’s brand objectives.
  • Drive traffic to stores through tactical promotions, thematic campaigns, festive activations, and co-branded programs.
  • Propose creative mechanics that engage walk-ins, increase conversion, and enhance customer experience.
  • Plan and coordinate in-store activations, pop-ups, roadshows, trunk shows, and outlet-level events.
  • Liaise with the Digital Marketing, Creative, and Content teams to ensure campaign visibility across online and offline channels.
  • Work closely with the Merchandising team to plan monthly and quarterly promotions tied to stock performance, new launches, or supplier initiatives.
  • Work with suppliers and brand principals to plan launches, promo support, in-store visibility, and staff education materials.
  • Propose campaign ideas to uplift product sell-through and maintain strong category performance.
  • Track campaign and store performance (traffic, sales uplift, product take-up).
  • Compile post-campaign reports and event reviews with ROI analysis.
  • Recommend improvements for future campaigns.
