Operations Engineer (Pengerang)

• Support in incidents/ variances /abnormal observations report and investigation.
• To perform data analysis and identify improve opportunities in operation performance in terms of productivity, efficiency and cost. Such as MyService processes, Qlik Sense, Batch automation, jetty performance, utilities consumption and etc.
• Manage ad-hoc activity manpower administration and planning, workflow scheduling, and inter-departmental communication to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operations.
• Coordinate and communicate with multiple parties for work related to operation under conditions of tight time line and customer's demands.
• Coordinate and monitor training plan for operation shift teams to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.
• Developing and updating Company Operating Standards and Procedure into MyDoc.
• Take responsibility for long term operational problems that may affect agreed customer service levels
• Assist in operation consumable material ordering process and budget monitoring.
• Attend to Customer and Commercial enquiries related to company operation matters and provide prompt feedback.
• Undertake the role as Advisor on Scene Commander during an emergency situation.
• Assist Operations Manager during his/her absent.
• Manage OPEX budget and prepare Capex project on yearly basis.

• Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience preferably related to Oil & Gas.
• 10 years of working experience, with a minimum 5 years in a supervisory and people management roles
• Excellent working knowledge in Petroleum/Petrochemical industry with deep understanding of the industry’s technical and operation processes
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and good verbal and written communication skills as required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Familiarity with Government and authorities regulations and policies is an added advantage.
• Independent, highly self-motivated and result-oriented.
• Analytical mind-set for trouble shooting and problem solving.
• High EQ in handling difficult situations.
