What you'll do:
As an Order to Cash Manager based in Selangor, you will take ownership of the entire cash application lifecycle within a dynamic Shared Services Centre environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing payment postings, managing reconciliations, supporting month-end activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.You will be instrumental in driving process optimisation through standardisation initiatives and increased automation while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. - Oversee all aspects of the end-to-end cash application process, ensuring incoming payments are posted accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
- Manage daily bank uploads, payment matching activities, clearing of open items, and thorough investigation of unapplied or unidentified cash transactions.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of customer accounts by resolving discrepancies promptly and maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Support month-end close procedures by preparing and reviewing journal entries as well as conducting detailed account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Champion standardisation efforts and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising cash application workflows and increasing levels of automation across the function.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Commercial departments to resolve payment-related issues and drive process enhancements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), proactively addressing any gaps through corrective actions to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements by regularly reviewing processes and implementing necessary updates.
- Lead, coach, and develop the cash application team by fostering a culture of accountability, growth mindset, and operational excellence through regular feedback and support.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements related to order-to-cash processes and actively participate in digital transformation projects that advance the department’s capabilities.
