Warehouse Supervisor

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory, or logistics, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Experience leading a team of warehouse assistants and drivers.
- Able to operate a forklift.
- Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office).
- Familiar with warehouse SOPs, safety procedures, and inventory control practices.
- Familiar with route planning for Johor area.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and handle daily operational challenges.
- Physically fit and willing to be hands-on when required.
- Mandarin speaking ability is an advantage.
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established procedures.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment and conducting regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Plan and optimize warehouse layout and storage space to maximize efficiency and minimize handling costs, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as production, sales, and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and shipping accuracy, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
