Finance Manager

A MNC with worldwide presence and a leader of the industry is looking for a qualified candidates for the position of Finance Manager to be based at the manufacturing plant in Selangor.

1. Review and approve documents including claims, change requests, journal entries, payment requests, and adjustments/write-off requests on accounting, and stocks-related entries.
2. To plan and review period inventory counts and ensure variance reports are duly completed.
3. To monitor the company's cash flow position and ensure it is within the target set or to propose optimal funding when necessary.
4. Review and ensure timely and accuracy submission of financial reporting.
5. Review monthly aging reports, reconciliation reports, and audit schedules, and clear long outstanding overdue items.
6. To perform analysis and draft financial commentary on the schedules and reports.
7. To prepare and review yearly budget/business plan preparation for revenue as required by management.
8. To participate in internal and external audit exercises. Gather and provide information as requested.
9. Provide supervision and guidance to the team members to ensure operation run smoothly at all times.

1. A recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, etc.
2. Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
3. At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
4. Self-motivated, initiative and able to meet tight deadlines.
5. Analytical and meticulous for details, possess high integrity and able to work independently to meet tight timelines.
6. A committed team player with good personality, communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Well versed in spreadsheets skills and right exposure to ERP computer system.
8. Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
