Senior Finance Manager

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar finance manager or senior accountant role, preferably in the consultancy industry
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, with a solid understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility
• Salary: Negotiable based on work experience
• Monitoring Import shipment and trade facilities
• Preparing LC / BA / PA / BG applications or others types of financing for import shipment and monitor USD movement and negotiate with forex deale
• Review Trade facilities by bankers and prepare documentations revert queries by bank
• Assist in Legal / Discharge documentation
• Prepare Board Resolution related to banking facilities and bank account opening
• To verify /approved all material purchase payment (local & overseas)
• To do any assignment as instructed by the Superior or Management from time to time
• Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process, and providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
• Supervising and developing the finance team to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborating with other departments to provide financial expertise and support business initiatives
• Familiarity with MFRS, and MPERS implementation and updates.
• Familiar with LHDNM rules and regulation
• Timely educate all finance staff on Latest Tax Compliance, Cash Flow, Accounting Standards
• Take lead and develop a continuous evaluation of both short-term, and long-term financial strategies to ensure achievement of company objectives
• Proactively manage staff motivation and morale of the finance department.
• Organize and conduct regular team meetings within portfolio (where required) to address and resolve team issues, or concerns; and
