What you'll do:

As a Customer Relationship Management Assistant Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be entrusted with overseeing the end-to-end planning and execution of app content strategies designed to engage users and support business objectives. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing robust content calendars that align with company-wide campaigns while optimising app performance through careful analysis of user data.
You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams—both locally and globally—to ensure seamless integration of digital efforts across all channels. By staying abreast of industry trends and utilising advanced analytics tools, you will continuously refine strategies to maximise user engagement, conversion rates, and overall brand presence.

Your ability to communicate insights clearly will help guide decision-making processes throughout the organisation.

  • Develop comprehensive plans for app content and push notifications, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and ecommerce priorities.
  • Create detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal content calendars that support branding initiatives and drive consistent user engagement within the app channel.
  • Optimise the performance of app sessions and notifications by analysing user behaviour data to increase conversions, sales, and healthy monthly active user growth.
  • Work collaboratively with other owned and paid media channels to enhance the organisation’s overall digital footprint and achieve integrated marketing goals.
  • Conduct regular weekly and monthly performance analyses, preparing insightful reports for marketing managers and ecommerce teams to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with both local and global digital marketing teams to review current practices, share best practices, and implement improvements across all digital touchpoints.
  • Stay informed about industry-wide developments in digital marketing practices and emerging media trends to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Leverage data analytics tools to run experiments, extract actionable insights from ecommerce data, and identify consumer or product trends that can drive business growth.
  • Communicate complex digital marketing concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels, articulating strategy, goals, KPIs, and achievements effectively.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing or Business Administration is required; additional certifications in digital marketing are advantageous.
  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience in CRM operations or related fields within a fast-moving consumer environment is essential for success in this position.
  • Demonstrated expertise using Google Analytics for tracking campaign performance, measuring KPIs, creating dashboards, and drawing actionable insights for optimisation purposes.
  • Hands-on experience managing proprietary content management systems as well as familiarity with Facebook Manager, TikTok Ads, Search Console or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in landing page optimisation techniques aimed at increasing user engagement while maximising conversion rates within allocated ad spend budgets.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with an aptitude for leveraging data metrics to inform recommendations that drive measurable improvements in campaign outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English are necessary for articulating complex strategies clearly to diverse audiences within the organisation.
  • A collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively across departments—including marketing managers, ecommerce teams, and global partners—to achieve shared objectives.
