Internship Mechanical Engineer / Civil Engineer (Intern)

Internship Opportunity – Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering

Internship Duration : Minimum 3 to 6 months

• Assist engineers and operations team in crane and heavy equipment maintenance planning.
• Support inspection, servicing, troubleshooting and monitoring of heavy machinery performance.
• Assist in preparing maintenance reports, technical documentation and service records.
• Participate in site visits, equipment inspections and operational support activities.
• Support preventive maintenance scheduling and spare parts coordination.
• Assist in monitoring equipment safety compliance and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with workshop, operations, and safety departments on daily activities.
• Learn and apply industry practices related to heavy lifting equipment and transportation operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment efficiency and reliability.

• Exposure to real industrial and heavy lifting projects.
• Hands-on experience with cranes and heavy equipment operations.

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of construction practices, structural concepts, or project coordination is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, hydraulics, or heavy equipment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia are compulsory and candidates will be assessed for their proficiency during preview selection. Mandarin will be an added advantage to communicate and liaise with our external stakeholders.
• Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications plus other AI applications will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel for site visits when necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Candidate must be willing to commute and work in Port Klang, Selangor.
