Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff
- Strong team management and conflict resolution skills
- Capable of handling staff scheduling and training
- Solid understanding of restaurant/café operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP)
- Experience in inventory control and stock management

- Assist the Manager and supervise activities within the outlet.
- Be responsible for the administrative services and overall operations of the assigned outlet.
- Ensure restaurant operations run smoothly in accordance with the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Monitor the smooth flow of service in the dining area, kitchen, and payment counter.
- Ensure that the restaurant’s opening and closing hours are strictly adhered to according to schedule.
- Conduct daily inspections on the cleanliness of the premises, staff uniforms, table arrangements, equipment, and restaurant facilities.
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials, beverages, and operational supplies.
- Oversee operations during peak hours to ensure services remain efficient and well-organized.
- Direct and coordinate all service efforts to achieve the outlet’s financial targets.
- Ensure all operational equipment is used according to its intended function, properly maintained, and report any defective assets or equipment to the Operations Manager / Outlet Manager.
- Be responsible for maintaining and controlling room temperature, ventilation, lighting, music, and sanitation standards within the outlet.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with services and products.
- Review sales reports, cash transactions, and records, and assist in controlling operating costs, including raw material costs and wastage.
- Conduct daily briefings and debriefings, as well as weekly meetings, for all service staff in the outlet.
- Prepare an effective duty roster to ensure sufficient manpower in accordance with business volume and manage new staff hiring based on outlet requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and other department heads.
- Identify and resolve operational issues and customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Report directly to the undersigned or any person authorized by the Operations Manager.
