Technical & Project Management – Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical & Project Management Executive with interdisciplinary experience in civil, electrical, and electronic engineering to coordinate and manage infrastructure, system implementation, and construction-related projects.

This role involves overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget — while complying with technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Lead and coordinate technical projects, such as new car park setup, upgrades parking technology or the implementation of new digital solutions.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare drawings and schematic plans as required for project execution.
  • Review and validate technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and method statements.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols.
  • Assist in equipment selection, site layout planning, and system integration.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of technical operation. This includes maintaining and improving automated payment and access system (parking system, barriers, ANPR, payment terminal and other related technology).
  • Attend to breakdown calls promptly and prepare detailed breakdown reports with analysis.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all technical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Manage the IT infrastructure, including network, software, and hardware, that supports parking operations, mobile apps or system.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Supervise, guide, and coordinate the work of technical staff and technicians to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Procurement & Budget Management:

  • Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and procurement plans.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and coordinate with procurement team for timely delivery.
  • Monitor cost against budget and recommend adjustments when necessary.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate project meetings, presentations, and progress reviews.
  • Handle client feedback and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or technical systems management are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant technical and project management experience.
  • Experience supervising technical staff or technicians, coordinating their tasks and performance.

  • Experience in preparing technical drawings, schematics, and method statements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing technical drawings and site layouts.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Capable of using CAD, MS Project/Primavera, and other project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks smultaneously.

Others:

  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Able to work under tight timelines and in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with smart systems, IoT, or automation technologies in infrastructure.
  • Experience with government or municipal infrastructure projects.
