Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring the restaurant's smooth functioning, efficiency, and profitability. This role involves managing staff, monitoring financial performance, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a customer-focused professional with excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service and product quality.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure minimal waste.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to maintain smooth workflows.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
- Schedule shifts and manage payroll to ensure optimal staff coverage and cost-efficiency.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality and resolving issues promptly.
- Actively seek and respond to customer feedback to improve services and offerings.
- Maintain a welcoming and clean environment for all patrons.
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor restaurant budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales reports and develop strategies to increase revenue.
- Manage vendor relationships to negotiate competitive pricing and quality supplies.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the restaurant.
