Job Title: Social Media Content Creator (TikTok)

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a trend-savvy, content-driven Social Media Content Specialist who thrives on TikTok. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to create scroll-stopping content, understands skincare and its ingredients, and can bring a brand to life through engaging storytelling and community interaction.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our online presence, driving engagement, and growing our audience across social platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Strategy & Creation
  • Develop and execute content strategies tailored to TikTok across multiple brand accounts.
  • Plan, script, storyboard, and direct engaging short-form video content that aligns with brand voice and skincare positioning.
  • Shoot and edit videos independently or in collaboration with a content team, ensuring they meet platform best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Manage content creation timelines including script writing, shoot schedules, uploads, and reportings.
  • Ensure consistent and timely publishing of content across platforms, maintaining brand tone and quality.
  1. Trend Research & Community Engagement
  • Stay updated with trending topics, audio, memes, and platform-specific formats on TikTok globally.
  • Interact with followers and manage community engagement to foster a strong and loyal audience across TikTok
  1. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
  • Track and analyze key metrics (Impressions, Reach, Engagement, Follower Growth, etc.) to evaluate content effectiveness.
  • Optimize content strategies based on analytics, platform algorithms, and feedback loops.
  • Monitor boosting results and adjust content approach accordingly.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and marketing planning sessions.
  • Work with internal teams to support branding campaigns and product launches, especially for skincare lines.
  • Proven experience in social media content creation, especially on TikTok.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written).
  • Skilled in video shooting and editing (using mobile apps or editing software).
  • Strong understanding of skincare products, ingredients, and how to communicate benefits clearly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of local market social media trends and consumer behavior.
  • Hands-on experience managing and growing social media accounts.
  • Proactive, creative thinker with a passion for content and a fast-paced work style.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and continuously improving.
  • Team player with a willingness to contribute beyond your role when needed.
