As an intern, you won't just be "doing the math"; you'll be the engine room of the finance department, ensuring data is accurate and organized.
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR): Processing vendor invoices, verifying receipts, and assisting with bill payments or client collections.
- Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Recording daily financial transactions into accounting software
- Bank Reconciliation: Matching bank statements against the company’s internal records to ensure every penny is accounted for.
- Month-End Support: Assisting senior accountants in closing the books, which includes preparing journal entries and accruals.
- Document Management: Maintaining a systematic filing system for audits (digital and physical) to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Education & Qualifications
- Current Student: Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Professional Papers: Candidates currently pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or CPA modules are highly preferred.
